He was so close and yet so far away from the eternal life he was seeking. Have you ever been there?

Epiphany Sunday and Communion Sunday, Rev. Dan Bogre will begin the sermon series “Doubt” preaching a sermon based on John 20:24-31.

Even though he comes as a baby born in a stable and lying in a manger, we are still called to arrive at that manger falling to our knees.

Maybe we’ve received the newborn Jesus as Savior or even Lord. But have we received Him as the light of our life? Have we determined to shine His light into the lives of all those around us?

There are times in our lives, in the midst of pain and suffering and loss, when we simply shout out, “Does anyone understand what I am going through”? God simply responds, “I do”.

Jesus is ready to save when we are ready to be saved. Are you ready? When we are, we will receive a peace that the world could never give.

“The citizens of this Kingdom would seek to do God’s will. They would love God with all their hearts, souls, minds, and strength, and they would love their neighbors as they love themselves.” Will I live my life as a citizen of that Kingdom?

In Leviticus we find out that it is blood that washes clean all the stains of the Israelite people. What do we need the blood to wash away in our lives?

We will learn this week how God uses blood to teach us about the lifeblood of our lives her and now and for all eternity. What is your lifeblood?

It feels like we are stuck. Are we ever going to get through this pandemic? Is there a light at the end of the tunnel?

How have you experienced a living Jesus Christ in the midst of these last 19 months and how is he using them to prepare you for the new community on the other side?

Where have God’s challenges and hard truths caused us to turn away, or even just stall out in our faith? Has our experience of the pandemic distanced us from Jesus and the church in the same manner?
