Quarantine: Alone is not so alone

Quarantine is a state, period or place of isolation. That word means that there is not supposed to be anyone else there with you in your isolation. You are supposed to be alone.

In our text today, after Jesus is baptized, he is led by the Holy Spirit into the wilderness. Jesus is tempted by the devil and he is attended to by angels. So much for being alone.

In your times of quarantine and isolation are you aware that you are not alone?

Are you aware that alone is not so alone? When you are alone, does it feel as though you are being led by the Holy Spirit? Does it feel as though you are being tempted by the devil?

Does it feel like God is attending to you with his angels? Do you feel anything at all? Alone is not so alone.
