Good Friday: April 15, 12:00pm to 4:00pm - reflection, meditation, and communion in the Chapel.
Easter Prayer Vigil: April 15, 4:00pm through Easter morning, April 17, 8:30am - around-the-clock prayer vigil in the Chapel.
There will be hands-on activities for children, and big kids too, to ensure families can experience this time together in a positive way.
Easter Sunrise Service: April 17, 6:30am, at Lakewood Park
The Easter Sunrise Service is back for a second year! This service will be hosted by the clergy and youth of RRUMC at Lakewood Park at 6:30am on Easter morning. The plan is to gather and worship on the “Solstice Steps” along the waterfront. Attendees are encouraged to dress appropriately for an early morning gathering along the water, and are welcome to bring a folding chair just in case we end up relocating to a pavilion due to inclement weather. Celebrating the resurrection of Christ in this tranquil setting is the perfect way to begin your Easter morning, with the sun (hopefully) rising alongside us by the conclusion of the service.
