Supply a Good Start for School

The Mission Outreach Committee needs you to help children in need of school supplies.

The last couple of years we have purchased some items in bulk and found this allows us to provide more school supplies and enough of the essential items for more students.

This year we are asking if you want to provide children with the educational supplies they need, you can do it in one of two ways. You can give a financial donation to help with the purchase of items like paper, notebooks, pencils, pens, crayons, markers and scissors etc. or you could purchase special items like backpacks, calculators, etc.

There will also be an opportunity to help us distribute the school supplies on August 6. Volunteers are needed to help with registration, supply table stocking, and to assist parents and children with selecting the items they will need to start school using the Cleveland School System supply list.

School supplies will be distributed Tuesday, August 6 at the Nehemiah Mission “Bread on Bridge Tuesdays,” a regular Tuesday evening gathering, from 5:00-7:00pm during which all are invited to drop in to share in a light meal, conversation, scripture, and prayer.
