Mark 6:30-37a
In the midst of Jesus’ ministry, He was ever confronted by the needs of the multitudes.
But He knew that in order to have access to their hearts, He had to first fill their stomachs and heal their diseases. He would teach His twelve disciples to do the same. And confronted by a broken world and emptying churches, our approach must be no different. We must not turn our backs on the needs of the world, but rather open our hearts and extend a hand of Christ-like love. A free Store is one way of extending the grace and love of Christ. And just like Jesus, in the feeding of the 5000, multiplied the humble gifts of one boy to feed the multitudes, He will do the same for us.
