Not only does our sin create barriers between us and God, it creates barriers between us and others in our Christian family.
Convinced that we must always appear to “have it all together”, we hesitate to open up about our own struggles. For the woman at the well in John 4, an encounter with Jesus finally granted her the freedom and courage to stop hiding behind her life of sin. Because of her courage, hearts were won and the entire community was transformed. What might God do with the same level of courage in our midst?
