As we prepare to enter the sacred season of Lent, we hope you’ll make plans to join us on the journey. The Lenten study for this year will utilize Susan Robb’s “Seven Words: Listening to Christ from the Cross”.
Robb tells us that listening to Jesus’s last words on the cross will allow us to discover what He most wants us to hear. It’s from the cross, as He breathes his last breath and speaks his last words, that Jesus reveals His deep trust in the father as well and His incredible ability to forgive.
This study will assist participants in finding life and hope in Jesus’ final words.
The group leaders will contact group members to inform them whether the group will be on Zoom or in person.
This 6 week DVD-based study will also provide the focus for the Lenten sermon series on Sunday mornings. You may sign up online or via the Church Office (office@rrumc.org or 440-331-7676) for one of several small group study options.
You will also need the accompanying book for this study. It can be purchased at a cost of $12 from the church office, at one of the sign-up tables on February 20th or 27th , or you may choose to obtain a book by purchasing online. You are also welcome to purchase the book to follow along with the study individually, if that is your preference.
