Care Ministries

A Story of Support and Healing

Through Care Ministries, we bear one another’s burdens, especially in the midst of the more tender or difficult parts of our stories.

  • Faith Community Health Professional - health professional who visits, counsels, and educates those facing health or grief support needs, advocating for them and assisting them in finding resources

  • Story Keepers - visit the home-bound and those unable to attend services

  • Caregivers Support Group - provides support and encouragement for anyone in a caregiver role

  • Shawl Ministry - make shawls by hand to provide to people in need of comfort and support and to mark times of celebration

  • Nourish - prepare and/or deliver meals to those in the midst of difficult or stressful circumstances

  • Card Ministry - send cards of encouragement, support, or celebration to other RRUMC members

  • Backyard Missions - complete household or yard projects for those with a variety of needs

Care ministries are available to everyone, whether as a recipient or provider of care to others.
