Care Ministries
A Story of Support and Healing
Through Care Ministries, we bear one another’s burdens, especially in the midst of the more tender or difficult parts of our stories.
Faith Community Health Professional - health professional who visits, counsels, and educates those facing health or grief support needs, advocating for them and assisting them in finding resources
Story Keepers - visit the home-bound and those unable to attend services
Caregivers Support Group - provides support and encouragement for anyone in a caregiver role
Shawl Ministry - make shawls by hand to provide to people in need of comfort and support and to mark times of celebration
Nourish - prepare and/or deliver meals to those in the midst of difficult or stressful circumstances
Card Ministry - send cards of encouragement, support, or celebration to other RRUMC members
Backyard Missions - complete household or yard projects for those with a variety of needs
Care ministries are available to everyone, whether as a recipient or provider of care to others.
