Twice Blessed Free Store Youth Volunteer Opportunity- Saturday, April 13, 9:00am-12:00pm
On Saturday, April 13, from 9:00am-12:00pm, the youth ministry will be volunteering at Twice Blessed Free Store! We will meet on location at 9900 Madison Ave., Cleveland. This is an amazing opportunity for students to have a hands-on, firstperson experience of what it means to help others while also seeing what it means for the church to be the hands and feet of Christ at RRUMC's second campus.
Tech-Wise Family Seminar - Sunday, April 21
I'm excited to invite parents to a first of its kind seminar called “Tech-Wise Family.” This event is designed to provide insights and guidance on navigating the challenges and opportunities that technology presents in our daily lives and those of our children. Our speaker for the event is Melissa Affolter, a counselor and the Director of Content at Fieldstone Counseling.
Fieldstone Counseling is a biblically-based, Christ-centered, and clinically informed counseling center with locations in Lakewood and Green, Ohio. Melissa has recently spoken at local schools on screens, technology, and related topics, and we are thrilled to have her share her expertise with us. The seminar will take place on Sunday, April 21, at 2:30pm at Rocky River UMC in the café. We believe this will be a valuable opportunity for all parents to learn more about creating a tech-wise family. Students are welcomed and encouraged to attend with their parents. Youth Mission Trip 2024 - Camp Asbury - Sunday, June 30 to Friday, July 5.

The base price for the mission trip is now $275 still with $125 in potential savings! This is one of the most affordable mission trips RRUMC has ever done. It is nearly half the price of last year's mission trip! Join us for a week of service and fun at Nottingham UMC and Camp Asbury! We will help with a food pantry, painting, landscaping, and more. We will also enjoy paintball, Fun 'n' Stuff amusement park, Whirly Ball, fireworks, and more. Every night, we will share our experiences and grow closer to God and each other. Don’t miss this amazing opportunity!
