“I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me" - Matthew 25:36
Last year, the Armored Disciples Motorcycle Ministry (ADMM) teamed up with “Continue the Story” Prison Ministry to host a Christmas Card Write Night.
With the help of many from RRUMC, we were able to send 200 Christmas cards to local prisoners incarcerated in Ohio prisons.
This meant 200 forgotten men and women received a little joy in the form of a Christmas card last holiday season.
But that was just part of the story!! RRUMC only contributed to a small portion of the over 14,000 cards (in total) sent last year!
This year, our goal is to contribute 500 cards to what Continue the Story calls, "The Drop". The ADMM invites you to share in the joy of card writing this holiday season as we spread love, joy, and kindness to those who may not feel loved or wanted this coming Christmas.
This year we will be doing the Write Night in Beacon Hall on December 13th from 5-7 pm.
We are doing this to provide a little more protection and social distancing because of Covid. We will also have some cards available at the church office in the beginning of December if you feel safer by taking a few home and writing them and then returning them to the office no later than December 15th.
