As we have just wrapped up the sermon series, “The Redemption of Scrooge” throughout the season of Advent I am reminded that God didn’t have to.
In Dicken’s, “A Christmas Carol” Jacob Marley did not have to come back and visit Scrooge. The Ghost of Christmas, Past, Present, and Future did not have to come and visit Scrooge showing him the way to a life-change and transformation. They all chose to come to Ebenezer Scrooge. WHY? He was worth it, AND SO ARE YOU!
