They happen quite a bit and they many times happen for different reasons.
We will look at three parties in the month of May. We will look at the party for the return of the Prodigal Son. Week two we will look at the party that was thrown for the wedding at Cana. In week three we will celebrate the birth of the church at Pentecost.
Why did they throw those parties and how can we still live into those celebrations as we live out our faith stories now? Following Christ still can be a party if we seek out the abundant life that we can only find in him.
