Nursery School News

by Margery Wanosik, NS Co-director

The nursery school students had a great Christmas break and came back into school with so many great stories to share with their teachers and friends.

Before they left for break, though, the Pre-K students enjoyed a Wonder Walk with Reverend Dan. They got a first hand look at the Sanctuary and learned about the church’s Advent wreath at the altar. They listened intently to another great story and had a lot of questions for Reverend Dan afterward! All the children in the school took home some really great art projects throughout the Christmas season that their families hopefully will treasure together.

Registration is open for the 2023-2024 school year. We have openings in several of our classrooms. Please help us to spread the word!

The Nursery School held a fundraising event on January 4. There was a bunch of great art work produced by the kiddos which will be sent off and transformed into greeting cards. The Nursery School collaborated with the Key Club from Rocky River High School on the event. We had great volunteers show up to help the children with their projects. And finally a big thank you to all families who came out - it was a nice evening for all.

The teachers are working hard to provide quality early education for all the children who come each day eager to learn and play! They truly are a wonderful group of ladies.
