Our big backpack collection drive has begun and we invite you to donate backpacks for kindergartners to high school aged students.
We will be collecting backpacks for school aged children for the next two weeks and our goal is to donate 100 backpacks.
We are grateful and proud to announce that all supplies have been donated by a very generous and anonymous donor so many students will have all the school materials they need, leaving the only necessary item being a backpack to carry with them!
All backpacks can be dropped off Monday through Thursday from 9am to 4pm at the church in the blue bin which will be just outside the main entrance rotunda doors. On Sunday Morning from 9am through 12:30pm, please drop off backpacks in the same blue bin. Deadline for donations is Sunday, July 12.
We will be distributing the backpacks through our Twice Blessed Free Store ministry. We thank you for all of your support as we get these wonderful students ready for the school year!
PLEASE NOTE: The blue bin is for backpacks only. NO FREE STORE DONATIONS PLEASE. We will announce when we will be taking donations for the Free Store very soon.
