Stand In for Homeless Children

Nearly 3,000 school-age children are experiencing homelessness in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District this year.

They're threatened by a cycle of poverty that leaves them stigmatized and struggling for normalcy with little hope of escape.

Right now, it's imperative that the Church has eyes to see this crisis.

Members from every church in greater Cleveland are invited to Stand In Public Square on Saturday, June 29, to join the City Mission and represent each homeless student in our city.

This event will raise awareness and offer ways to turn that awareness into action.

The event will include worship, prayer, food trucks, activities for families, and more.

Anyone interested in traveling to the event as a group from our church should meet at the church at 4:30pm; we will return by about 7:00pm. Children/youth under age 18 must be accompanied by at least one parent.

Contact Dave Sagerser at dsagerser@aol.com or Steven Young at SYoung@rrumc.org with questions or to join us.

We hope you will show support for all of the children who need it most!
