SCRIPTURE: Acts 3:11-26
If we come at people with our own “insider” language, we automatically turn others off for a myriad of reasons.
They could feel dumb, excluded or embarrassed that they do not know our language. If we start there, we never stand a chance of sharing our story.
However, if we get to know their language and use their own words, phrases, and jargon to share the story of Jesus in our lives, we invite them into the story.
In what areas of life do you find yourself knowing the languages of others? I know football parents, golfing buddies, etc.
I know those languages and I am fluent in them. I will use thos languages to share the story of Jesus Christ moving in my life. What languages are you fluent in?
