What do you thirst for? One of the last things that Jesus said on earth before he died was, “I am thirsty.”
We know that he was fully human and fully divine. His human side was just plain old thirsty after all that he had gone through in the physical crucifixion.
What else was he thirsty for as he breathed his last? What is it that we as human beings thirst for in our lives? What is the water that we thirst for that will truly quench our desires?
