Jesus uses example after example to drive home the point that the kingdom of heaven is the most beautiful thing we will ever experience.
It is so wonderful we will give up anything and everything to experience it, not just in the next world but in this world too.
We receive the one time joy of the treasure of salvation, but then buy the field so that joy never leaves us.
