How blessed we are as Christians here in America where the freedom extended us by our beloved nation is only the icing on the cake, supplementing the tremendous eternal freedoms and new life extended us by our Savior, Jesus Christ!
Yet many of us have struggled with exactly what it might look like to live in the intersection of these two identities, our allegiance to our nation and our citizenship in God’s Kingdom.
What better time to explore such an immense and important topic than on our nation’s birthday, Independence Day!
