As representatives of Christ in this world, reflectors of His light, He is our power source, and His Word is His divine revelation intended for each of us.
To represent God in this world, there is no way around it, we must have an intimate relationship with our Bibles.
Otherwise, as brightly as we might shine, our reflection of Christ will likely be inaccurate, doing more harm than good.
The Israelites remained bound to God’s Word for many centuries, and then it all fell apart.
