What must Jesus have been thinking as he met the 11 disciples on top of the mountain to see them face to face for the last time?
It says in the text that the 11 went to the top of the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. They were worshipping him and then it says, “But some doubted.”
How can they still doubt? How can they still be uncertain as to who Jesus was, is and will be after all that they had experienced and seen? And yet Jesus calls them to SHINE.
I feel like all he had to call was “The B Team”. Where were the first stringers? Where were the starters?
Can we call the 11 the first stringers if some of them still doubted even as they worshipped and even as they were called to SHINE?
That gives me hope. That should give you hope.
