Anticipation versus expectation. What do those two words mean when we use our eyes to look at all the symbols of Advent and the Christmas season?
Does your Christmas tree let you know that soon there will be presents there underneath it or can you see the tree as a reminder of the tree, the cross, that Jesus hung on to give us the gift of salvation?
In week one of Advent we will ask the question, “Do you see what I see?” That is a question that we can ask God as we enter this season of joy and celebration.
How would you answer that same question if/when God asks you this Advent season, “Do YOU see what I see?”
