Do you delight in your weaknesses? In the text today from Paul’s letter to the Corinthians he says that he delights in his weaknesses. He would much rather do that than boast in his strengths. He goes even further to say he also delights in insults, hardships, persecutions and difficulties. That does not seem to make sense in the world in which we live. We work to avoid all of those things in our lives. However, there are times that we cannot escape them.
There are times when we just cry out to the Lord, “Enough is enough.” Jesus knows exactly what we need, and he is the only one who can give it to us.
