The Angels of Christmas: Let it be: Gabriel and Mary

When God called me into full-time Christian ministry as a pastor, I know that my first response was never, “Let it be.”

When God places his call on our lives, whether it is to be a pastor or to sing in the church choir, we always seem to find it hard to believe. Me, God? You are calling someone like me? Mary’s first response was, “How can this be?” Mary did not stop there.

Mary continued to ponder and to pray and to contemplate what this angel’s visit meant to here.

Are you giving yourself time to ponder, to pray, and to contemplate what God is trying to do in you and through you? Are you preparing yourself to say, “Let it be.”
