So many times when we read the story of Zacchaeus we want to find ourselves looking at it through the eyes of Zacchaeus. In this month’s “Trees” sermon series we are asking for you to see it through the eyes of Jesus, as if you were walking side by side with him on that road.
Jesus could have looked in any other direction but he decided to LOOK UP to see where this lost and alone man was up in the tree. Jesus knew that Zacchaeus was a point where he was curious about Jesus. All it took was for Jesus to LOOK UP.
Jesus looked in a place that no one else was looking. He didn’t miss Zacchaeus up there in the tree.
Who are we missing in our lives that are curious about who Jesus is? Who is in our trees? All you need to do is LOOK UP.
