Few things are more important in the realm of grocery shopping than labels. Product labels tell us what is inside the package, whether we can see inside or not.
Sadly, we often apply labels to people for the same purpose, to identify what we believe to be inside based simply on appearances.
Scripture repeatedly condemns this way of assessing people, and perhaps nowhere with more clarity than in Joshua 2 and the story of Rahab. Rahab shows us that labels mean nothing, what matters is faith in action.
