Have you ever been too afraid to boldly represent or proclaim your faith? If you’re anything like me, perhaps a better question is, have you ever NOT been afraid to represent your faith?
Whether it’s our fear of standing out in a crowd, or being perceived as arrogant, or just a general fear of being incapable of doing so, fear often acts as a giant wrecking ball to any true witness we seek to build in our lives to share our faith with others.
Peter was no stranger to these same fears as he followed Christ, but something changed for him in the events surrounding Easter that obliterated that fear and emboldened him to speak his faith to all around. What changed for Peter? Can it be made to have the same effect on us?
