Happy Easter! Jesus is Risen!
This year, as I have been reading, studying, researching and preparing for our Lenten sermon series called, “Entering the Passion of Jesus”, I have been focusing on that week from his arrest to his execution to Easter morning.
I cannot let go of Jesus’ final words from the cross when he says, “It is finished.” John 19:30.
If on Good Friday IT was finished, what on Easter Sunday must be started and what role am I called to play as a disciple of Jesus Christ?
On Easter Sunday what is about to begin in me if on Good Friday something was finished?
