In our text for today from Matthew it was an earthquake, tombs breaking open, rocks splitting and the temple curtain being torn from top to bottom.
Today is Pentecost Sunday and it took the Holy Spirit, fire, and a hurricane force wind to get people moving for the Gospel.
Encounters with Jesus Christ are all around us every day if we know how, when, where, and why to look for him.
I pray that it does not take an earthquake or fire or hurricane wind to open your heart and mind to a risen Savior who wants nothing more than to be in relationship with you.
