In the text today Peter tells the lame beggar to “Look at us!”
He called for the non-believer’s full attention. Do we want people who do not know Jesus Christ yet to look at our lives in order to see who Jesus is? We are called to be in relationship with people outside of the Christian circles in which we already live. It is really easy to be in relationships with people who look and think like us in the church. The problem is that we can get really comfortable in those circles. Are you intentionally looking for relationships outside of the comfortable in order for people to see Christ in you – people who have never seen him before?
