SCRIPTURE: Ecclesiastes 5:8-20
It is such a privilege to be able to work and labor in this world.
On this Labor Day weekend we celebrate the American worker. We celebrate their drive, determination, and passion for the job, whatever that job might be in their life.
We also celebrate that we are all also called to labor for the Lord. We are called to help people meet Jesus Christ in the midst of their story with the gifts and talents that God has given us.
We can only do that if we work as if everything depends on us and pray as if everything depends on God.
