What are your visions and dreams for your life? Are you too young and you feel that you just do not know yet? Do you feel that you are too old and all of those visions and dreams have passed you by? In the text from the Acts of the Apostles today, Paul quotes the Old Testament prophet Joel, chapter 2. Even back in the Old Testament, Paul is reminding us, that God’s Spirit was in the world and changing it. God’s holy breath, Holy Spirit, and holy wind are being poured into us so that we don’t just dream, but have God sized dreams.
We are not just supposed to have visions, but we are to have visions of what God wants us to see for us and the world. Are you dreaming God sized dreams and seeing visions that can only be seen through God’s eyes? Come, Holy Spirit, come.
