I cannot even begin to tell you how many ministry ideas I have had and tried over the last 27 years that have ultimately crashed and burned. They failed!
What I learned is that I want to be able to look back on my career and know that, with God leading me, I was willing to try anything to help someone meet Jesus Christ in the midst of their story. I want a graveyard of failed ideas because then I know I tried.
My coach, Rev. Shane Bishop, said this piece of wisdom to me years ago, “God can bless anything, but he can’t bless nothin’.”
