The Heart That Grew Three Sizes: When Joy Is Our Song

Matt Rawle says in the final chapter of the book, “Joy is not something we can do. Joy simply is found.” He also says, “Love is an expression of the past. Peace is our work in the present. Hope projects us into the future. Joy in its timelessness brings all three together at once.”

How can we make joy our song of life? How did God send joy on that night in Bethlehem? What song did the shepherds sing on the way to the manger and how did it change when they left Jesus’ side? What song does your life currently sing?

Is it a song of love, peace, hope and joy, or is your song, “You’re a mean one, Mr. Grinch?” Merry Christmas.
