That sermon title and chapter title in the book seem to be out of place as we enter the, “Most wonderful time of the year.”
How can everything be wrong? Why is the Grinch so filled with hatred towards Christmas and the way the Whos celebrate it down in Whoville? For the Grinch everything is wrong with Christmas.
He cannot see Christmas for what it is supposed to be because he is only seeing through his lens of hatred. What kind of lenses to we put on as we approach Christmas this year? Why are our hearts not as big as they can or should be this Christmas season.
Let’s look at the Grinch, Mary and Elizabeth to try and find that answer.
