The sermon title is a question we will answer twice this Passion Palm Sunday.
The first time it is asked is when Jesus rides triumphantly into Jerusalem to the shouts of, “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”
Are you coming to the parade? Are you shouting, “Hosanna?” Where will you be standing?
The second time you will be asked this question is the week following Jesus’ arrest in the Garden of Gethsemane. Will you journey with him through the Passion? Will you be there when he is whipped, beaten, and punched?
Will you be there when they pierce his hands, his feet and his side? Will you be there when he breathes his last?
Or will you skip over the sacrifice that he made for you? WELL? YA COMIN’?
