Upside Down: This doesn’t make any sense

Stream us live on June 28 at 11:25am as Rev. Dan Bogre preaches from 1 Corinthians 1:18-31.

This text, to a non-believer, makes absolutely no sense at all. Foolish will shame the wise? The weak will shame the strong? We boast in the Lord and not in ourselves?

We must see the world through God’s eyes in order to be able to see the world turned upside down. We cannot do it on our own.

We are only programmed to see the world as it unfolds before us. We are only trained to see it as it is and not necessarily how it can be.

God’s eyes sees each of us as He created us to be. He sees the world as he created it to be and is striving to accomplish both even in the midst of our brokenness.

If he did not believe it could be done, the world would have ended a long time ago.

You are worth it. The person God already sees in you is worth it.

Turn yourself upside down to see the person God sees. That can change everything—even you.
