Join us at this wonderful seminar discussing, “Three Faiths, One Spirit, Deepening Shared Values.”

We will have an interfaith dialogue with Dr. Alan Kolp, Faith and Life Professor at Baldwin Wallace University; Rabbi Enid Lader, Beth Israel - The West Temple, Cleveland; and Dr. Carl Sharif El-Tobgui, Professor of Arabic and Islamic Studies at Brandeis University. A question and answer session will follow the seminar.

The Mary Anne & Richard Cavicchi Christian Education Seminar will be held from 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm in Beacon Hall.

Also, at 3:00pm, in the Sanctuary, the Case Western Reserve University Klezmer Music Ensemble will perform, allowing you to experience the sounds of the shtetl (Jewish village), the synagogue, and the soulful and jubilant Jewish wedding.

As part of the interfaith seminar, Rocky River UMC has been invited to attend:

• The Muslim Sabbath on Friday, April 5 at the Islamic Center of Cleveland. The sermon starts promptly at 1:00pm and will end by 2:00pm.

• The Torah Study and Shabbat Service with a Bat Mitzvah on Saturday, April 6, at Beth Israel – The West Temple. The Torah Study will begin at 9:15am ending at 9:55am. The Shabbat Service will begin at 10:00am and end by 12:15pm.
